The Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium has released CyFun® 2025, a major update aligning with NIS2 and NIST CSF 2.0.

Unlike ISO/IEC 27001, CyFun® focuses on practicality : clear controls, easier checks, and direct links to business needs. It’s designed to help organizations apply cybersecurity, not just document it.

Both CyFun® 2023 and 2025 remain valid during a transition period — after which only CyFun® 2025 will apply for self-assessments and verifications.

We Are Now Accredited by BELAC for CyFun® Verification (ISO 17029)

Brussels, October 12, 2025 — We’re proud to announce that What a Work is now accredited by BELAC (No. 770-VV) under the ISO 17029 standard for the verification of CyberFundamentals® (CyFun®), the framework developed by the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB). The division Trust CHECK will perform the missions.
